NEW YORK CITY SCREENING:
The New York City Short Film Festival is an international film festival now in its 12th year. The screening will take place on Saturday, November 5 at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Symphony Space, located at 2537 Broadway (@ 95th St.) in Manhattan. Going the Distance is only one of 14 films selected from a pool of more than 800! I am going to do what I can to make it to the screening and Q&A...
Named as one of the “Best Film Festival Investments” and “50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee” by Movie Maker Magazine, the First Glance Film Festival, now in its 19th year, will take place November 11-13 at the Painted Bride Art Center in Old City Philadelphia. Going the Distance will screen at 3:15 pm on Saturday, November 12, along with King's Highway. You can buy tickets for the screening here.
MASS MEDIA EXPO:
As a locally-based short and official alum of IFFB, Going the Distance will be screening at the Mass Media Expo (presented through the Massachusetts Production Coalition) on November 5 at the WGBH studios. I am most likely going to be in NYC that weekend, but if not, I will definitely swing by the expo.
